DESCRIPTION:Projection d’oeuvre analogues. Gratuit. \nExperience Imperialism est une série de performances audio-visuelles qui présente de nouvelles œuvres des artistes montréalais Le désert mauve\, Stephanie Castonguay et T. Gowdy. Le projet\, initié par T. Gowdy en 2020\, explore l’organisation socio-économique mondiale\, où l’expérience est extraite\, analysée et rendue comme une marchandise à l’échelle industrielle. En dehors de la reconnaissance du thème et d’un cadre temporel vague\, les artistes n’ont convenu d’aucune autre directive claire. Le résultat est trois œuvres distinctes qui sont unifiées dans leur utilisation de la technologie de surveillance vidéo analogique\, un sentiment de transformation et un sentiment de perplexité.
